Privacy Policy

The German version of this privacy policy is the legally binding text. This English page is a courtesy translation. The original is at /de/datenschutz.

1. Privacy at a glance

General notes. The following notes give a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit our website. Personal data is any data that can identify you personally. For full information, see the privacy policy below.

Data collection on our website. The data controller for this website is the website operator. Their contact details are in the imprint.

How we collect your data. Some data is provided by you directly — by email, phone, or via the Doctolib booking system. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the site (browser type, operating system, time of access).

What we use your data for. Some data is collected to ensure the website works correctly. Other data may be used — only with your explicit consent — for statistical analysis of your usage.

Your rights. You have the right at any time to free information about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data, as well as the right to correction, blocking, or deletion. Please contact us at the address in the imprint. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible supervisory authority.

2. General information and required disclosures

Privacy. The operators of this site take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

We point out that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Data controller. The data controller for this website is:

med. dent. (Univ. Temeswar) Mirela-Oana Georoceanu Korbinianplatz 1, 85737 Ismaning, Germany Phone: 089 965343 Email: kontakt@mg-zahnarztpraxis.de

Withdrawing consent. Many data-processing operations are only possible with your explicit consent. You can revoke a consent you have already given at any time by sending us an informal email. The legality of data processing carried out before the revocation remains unaffected.

Right to lodge a complaint. In the event of data-protection violations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the State Data Protection Officer of the federal state in which our company is based.

SSL/TLS encryption. This site uses SSL/TLS encryption for security. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the address bar showing “https://” instead of “http://“.

3. Data collection on our website

Cookies. This website uses only technically necessary cookies, plus — only after you give explicit consent via the cookie banner — cookies for statistical usage analysis. You can configure your browser to inform you when cookies are set and only allow them on a case-by-case basis.

Server log files. The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser sends:

  • browser type and version
  • operating system
  • referrer URL
  • hostname of the requesting computer
  • time of the server request
  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. Bookings via Doctolib

For online appointment booking we link to Doctolib, provided by Doctolib GmbH, Mehringdamm 51, 10961 Berlin, Germany. Data you enter at booking is processed directly by Doctolib — not by us. Doctolib’s privacy policy applies in addition: www.doctolib.de/terms/privacy.

5. Information, blocking, deletion

Within the framework of applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of data processing — as well as the right to correction, blocking, or deletion of this data. Please contact us at the address in the imprint.
